Thankful

I’m feeling sore this morn, which means I did it right at the gym yesterday. High5! I planned to go today, but it wouldn’t be the greatest workout and I don’t want to over do it for Sunday’s run walk. So, I’m thankful that I finally was able to workout, even though my back/hips are giving me flack right now.

I got to catch a beautiful cotton candy sunrise this morning when talking the pup for a quick stroll, for that I’m thankful.

I can’t believe that November has hit the ground running! I’m still trying to catch my breath, summer felt like it just slipped right past me. I do love this time of year and one of my favorite holidays is coming up, Thanksgiving. I found out the other day that we’ll be in Vegas again this year with babe’s family, which is always fun. For this, I’m very thankful, because mama needs a quick getaway, and I do love me some Vegas as you can tell by my tea mug in the pic below.

Life seems like it’s usually one big stress, one call to action after the next. So, I’m making a conscious effort to stop and be grateful for the small things. There are so many, I just need to slow down and appreciate them. This whole de-cluttering my life kick is starting to feel good. What are you guys thankful for right now?

  1. Sounds fun to go to Vegas for Thanksgiving. I’ve never been there. Beautiful sunrise too 🙂

I’m thankful that my kids are in good health, because others I know aren’t so lucky.

    Have a great day 🙂

    • Sue, it is! Mind you I love to cook Thanksgiving dinner, but going to a yummy buffet, pigging out and leaving the dishes for someone else, WIN-WIN! hahaha 🙂
I’m glad your kids are in good health, that is SO wonderful! My BF’s sister was actually diagnosed with breast cancer last summer and is winning her battle. So last Thanksgiving and this one have extra special meaning. 🙂 Vegas is FUN, it has a little something for everyone, of course partying and gambling, but there are all the shows, galleries, restaurants, shopping, spas…so both ends of the spectrum, from party animal to a relaxing get away, and did I mention the food??? lol 🙂
You have a great day too! 🙂 🙂
